I worked with two visual designers to bring The Online Learning Exchange (OLE, onlinelearningexchange.com) from conceptualization to development.
- Year: 2011
- Role: “UX Developer”
• Secondary research
• Team presenations
• Product conceptualization
• Lo-fi Wireframes
• Taxonomy development
• Sitemaps and content flows
To meet a market gap in teacher content sourcing, product managers wished to create a new online forum and set of libraries online for teachers.
Group whiteboard session
The project started with many group whiteboarding sessions to synthesize best solutions for the requirements presented to us.
To solidify what the group discussed, I created low-fidelity wireframes that the visual designers used.
I iterated on a living sitemap that we used to finalize the site structure.
To help track the flow of different types of content in the system, I created this map.
